U.S. Hunger's work extends far beyond our borders, as they’ve gathered more than 800,000 volunteers to distribute over 150 million meals globally. They provide access to nutritious meals for low-income families and individuals, spanning 53 countries and all US states, including Puerto Rico. We at College HUNKS are incredibly proud to stand alongside them in this endeavor.
In addition to our partnership with U.S. Hunger, College HUNKS also supports other noble causes, including Goodwill Industries, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and programs that aid survivors of domestic violence. We work with local shelters to provide discounted moves for those in need and offer free moves during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. And our local locations are deeply involved in various community initiatives and volunteer work for hunger projects across the United States.
Our commitment to ending child hunger extends to our partnership with Feeding Children Everywhere. Through this initiative, as food packing volunteers, we're actively involved in assembling and packing meals for the hungry, ensuring they reach kids, veterans, and the elderly who don't know where their next meal will come from. Over the course of a year, our efforts translate into an estimated 300,000 healthy meals.
