College HUNKS on Shark Tank.
College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving has appeared on Shark Tank, Undercover Boss, and more. That national exposure is not just a highlight reel: it builds the brand recognition and marketing engine that sends customers to local franchise owners.

Fame that works for owners.
When the College HUNKS Shark Tank episode first aired, brand recognition jumped, and it has kept building ever since. Our branding, website, and marketing campaigns have earned recognition from the American Marketing Association. For a franchise owner, that national profile turns into something practical: more people already know the name when your trucks roll into the neighborhood.

It started in the tank.
When Shark Tank aired its very first episode in 2009, College HUNKS founders Omar Soliman and Nick Friedman were standing in it. They were not pitching junk removal. They pitched College Foxes Packing Boxes, a packing and organizing spin-off of the junk hauling business they had started with a beat-up cargo van and a $10,000 business plan prize.
The sharks passed on the Foxes. What they wanted was a piece of College HUNKS Hauling Junk itself. Omar and Nick had a decision to make on national television: take the money, or keep full ownership of the brand they built.
They said no.
One shark predicted College HUNKS would never become a $10 million company. Today the brand has grown to 370+ locations nationwide, and the founders returned to Shark Tank in 2019 (Season 10, Episode 26) to tell the sharks how that bet on themselves paid off.
That decision is baked into the culture franchise owners join. This is a brand built by two guys who did the work themselves, trusted the model, and kept ownership when it mattered most. If that sounds like how you think, you will fit right in.
What happened to College Foxes Packing Boxes?
The College Foxes Packing Boxes concept never launched as its own franchise. Instead, packing services were folded into the College HUNKS moving service line, which means today’s franchise owners offer packing, moving, and junk removal from a single location: the dual revenue model the sharks never saw coming.
