WHAT OWNERS ACTUALLY SAY.

During the discovery process, you’ll speak with real franchise owners who made the same decision you’re considering.

The best due diligence is a conversation with someone who’s already done it. College HUNKS doesn’t hide its franchisees behind a PR team. During the discovery process, you’ll speak directly with owners at different stages, in different markets, with different backgrounds. Here’s what they tend to say.

ON THE SYSTEM

The most common theme: the system works when you follow it. Franchisees who lean into the playbook, the coaching, and the tech stack consistently outperform those who try to reinvent the wheel. The infrastructure is the product. Your job is to trust it and lead your team.

These summaries are a starting point. During the discovery process, the franchise team will connect you with owners who match your background, market type, and stage of interest. You’ll have unscripted, unmonitored conversations. Ask the hard questions. That’s what the calls are for.

On the culture

  • Franchisees consistently say the system works when you follow it. The playbook is the product.
  • The H.U.N.K.S. culture isn’t just marketing. It’s a hiring filter and retention tool that drives results.
  • The call center and business coach are the two most-cited support elements from new owners.
  • Owners come from every background. Leadership ability matters more than industry experience.

TALK TO THEM YOURSELF

These summaries are a starting point. During the discovery process, the franchise team will connect you with owners who match your background, market type, and stage of interest. You’ll have unscripted, unmonitored conversations. Ask the hard questions. That’s what the calls are for.

“The brand gave us a system. The culture gave us a team that actually wants to show up.”

Franchisees who lean into the coaching relationship and the operating playbook consistently outperform those who try to chart their own course. The system is the competitive advantage.

What owners say

THREE THEMES FROM VALIDATION CALLS.

01

The system works

Franchisees who follow the playbook, coaching, and tech stack consistently outperform. The infrastructure is the product.

02

Culture drives retention

The H.U.N.K.S. values are a hiring filter and training framework. Teams with a shared identity perform better across every metric.

03

Support is real

The call center and business coach are the two most-cited support elements. Not just week one. Ongoing.

Built to scale

FROM TRUCK DRIVER TO MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR OWNER.

Some owners didn’t start with a business background. They started with a work ethic and a willingness to follow the system. Here’s what that trajectory actually looks like.

ADRIAN THOMAS

Multi-territory owner • Started at age 19

Adrian started at College HUNKS at 19, driving a 26-foot truck. The brand saw potential in him and promoted him to business coach in his early twenties. By 26, he was running a multi-million dollar franchise operation. His story isn’t about luck. It’s about a system that identifies leaders and gives them room to grow.

“I love College Hunks because of the opportunities it provides, including the opportunity to grow, to serve the community, and to run a multi-million dollar operation at 26 years of age.”

“I don’t forget when people believe in me, and I’m forever grateful for that trust.”

Systems & support

THE PLAYBOOK WORKS.

Owners who follow the system consistently outperform those who try to reinvent it. The infrastructure, coaching, and franchisee network are what set this apart from going it alone.

ANNE & TODD SMITH

Franchise owners

Anne and Todd didn’t just buy a franchise. They bought into a network. What surprised them most wasn’t the systems (though those exceeded expectations). It was the willingness of other owners to pick up the phone and help.

“College Hunks provides excellent systems and a comprehensive playbook, which has been crucial for our success.”

“We were particularly surprised and impressed by the willingness of other franchisees to offer support and a helping hand.”

AMANDA COOK

Franchise owner

Amanda came to College HUNKS looking for a business with a real identity. Not just a logo on a truck, but a culture that actually drives performance. What she found was a brand that invests heavily in developing its people from the inside out.

“The brand’s significant investment in developing its people, teaching the importance of culture and core values, and building leaders is what truly distinguishes them.”

Freedom & family

BUILD THE BUSINESS. KEEP THE LIFE.

Financial freedom sounds like a buzzword until you meet someone who coaches their kid’s soccer team on a Tuesday afternoon because the business runs without them in the truck.

BOBBY DOOLEY

Franchise owner • Father of three

Bobby built a successful College HUNKS franchise and gained something the P&L doesn’t measure: time with his family. He coaches his kids’ teams, shows up for their events, and credits his staff and the brand’s systems for making that possible. The business runs. His life runs better.

“Thanks to my amazing staff, I have more time for my three children, being involved in their lives, and coaching their teams.”

“Without College Hunks, I would not have the life I enjoy today.”

Making the leap

WHAT THEY WISH THEY’D KNOWN SOONER.

Every owner had doubts before signing. The ones who made it will tell you the same thing: stop overthinking and start operating.

ARMON PROVO

St. Louis, MO • Inc. 5000 • 10 trucks

Armon and his wife Michaela took over their St. Louis franchise in 2021 at age 25. He came from financial advising; she’d been with the brand since college. They stripped the team from 20 to 4, rebuilt the culture from scratch, and broke $2M in year one (a first for that location). Now running 10 trucks, they’ve been named to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies list two years running.

“We stripped it down to four employees. We were like, we’re going to build this the way we want to. If you don’t build a solid foundation, cracks start to form very quickly.”

Gross sales figures referenced in owner stories are consistent with ranges disclosed in Item 19 of the 2026 CHHJ Franchise Disclosure Document. Past performance does not guarantee future results. New franchisees may earn less.

BOBBY DOOLEY

On the opportunity

Bobby’s advice for anyone evaluating the franchise: the systems, processes, and brand are already built. You’re not starting from scratch. You’re stepping into a proven model with a nationwide network of partners who genuinely want to see you succeed.

“If you’re looking for an opportunity to build and grow a business, College Hunks is the place to be.”

Locker Room

Common questions answered.

Yes. The FDD includes a full list of franchise owners and their contact information. The franchise team also facilitates validation calls with owners who match your background and market type. The conversations are unscripted and unmonitored.

Ask the hard questions: what’s the worst part, what surprised them, and would they do it again. Good questions include: how long to break even, what the first six months felt like, how the coaching relationship works, and what they’d do differently.

Most don’t. Franchise owners come from corporate, military, education, healthcare, tech, and every other background. The franchise system is built for operators, not movers. Leadership ability matters more than industry experience.

After your initial discovery calls and FDD review, typically a few weeks into the process. The franchise team facilitates the connections once you have enough context to ask meaningful questions.
